Position Overview: Supply Chain Coordinator

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be a crucial part of the procurement team, managing vendor relations, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring smooth operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement Operations:
    • Manage the end-to-end procure-to-pay cycle for technical sourcing.
    • Assist in price negotiations by gathering vendor quotations and providing market insights.
    • Send Requests for Quotations (RFQs), compare vendor prices, and contribute to negotiation discussions.
  • Order Management:
    • Issue purchase orders and coordinate with local suppliers for timely deliveries.
    • Oversee vendor logistics and ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory & Logistics Coordination:
    • Track imported items, maintain accurate records, and explore alternate sourcing options.
    • Monitor delivery schedules and follow up to ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Issue Resolution:
    • Handle claims related to delivery damages or delays and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Supplier Management:
    • Evaluate potential suppliers and maintain an updated vendor database.
    • Develop sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
    • Proficiency in handling procurement and logistics operations.
  • Attributes:
    • Proactive problem solver with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
