🎯 Role Summary

The Boiler Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a high-pressure diesel-fired boiler and RO water treatment system. This includes performing safety checks, monitoring water quality (pH, TDS), handling preventive maintenance, and preparing boiler health reports using MS Excel. The ideal candidate must be certified and have hands-on experience in diesel boiler operations.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a high-pressure diesel-fired boiler and reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment system.

• Regularly test and record pH and TDS levels of boiler feed water to ensure safe operation.

• Carry out preventive maintenance on boiler components including gauges, sensors, valves, and fittings.

• Perform safety testing and inspection of boiler equipment as per operational protocols.

• Maintain detailed records and reports on boiler health and submit them to management regularly.

• Ensure strict compliance with company safety policies and environmental regulations.

• Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure minimal downtime of the boiler system.

• Use MS Excel for documenting test results, maintenance logs, and performance summaries.

🎓 Qualification & Experience

• Education: DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) in Mechanical or Instrumentation.

• Certification: Valid B-Class Boiler Operator License.

• Experience: 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining diesel-fired boilers and water treatment systems.

💡 Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of boiler operation principles and safety standards.

• Familiarity with RO water systems and chemical testing for pH and TDS.

• Good mechanical troubleshooting abilities.

• Proficient in using MS Excel for recordkeeping and reporting.

• Knowledge of safety codes and regulatory compliance in boiler operations.
