Position Overview: Welfare Officer (Female)

As a Welfare Officer at Artistic Milliners, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the holistic well-being of our workforce. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing all aspects of worker welfare, providing essential awareness on basic labor laws, and actively participating in handling worker complaints. You will be at the forefront of implementing a robust grievance handling system, maintaining meticulous records of each complaint, and building strong relationships with our valued employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Labor Law Awareness: The incumbent will be responsible for educating workers on fundamental labor laws, empowering them with knowledge to navigate their professional rights.
  2. Complaint Handling: Actively participate in addressing and resolving worker complaints, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  3. Grievance Handling System: Implement and maintain an effective grievance handling system, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution process.
  4. Record Keeping: Keep track of each complaint, maintaining comprehensive records that contribute to continuous improvement and organizational learning.
  5. Employee Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with employees, creating an atmosphere of trust and collaboration.
  6. Training and Facilitation: Provide training sessions on company policies, fostering a culture of compliance and understanding among the workforce.
  7. Issue Resolution: Facilitate in resolving various issues faced by employees, acting as a bridge between the workforce and management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualification: The ideal candidate must be a graduate with a strong educational background.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar capacity is preferred, demonstrating a track record of success in welfare management.
