Position Overview: Product Developer

As a Product Developer at Artistic Milliners, you will be at the forefront of transforming creative concepts into tangible denim masterpieces. This multifaceted role requires a proactive individual who can seamlessly manage brand queries, oversee pre-production samples, and navigate the complexities of the costing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Assistance: Manage brand queries by uploading fit details on SPR (Special Price Request) for customer assistance, ensuring clarity and alignment with brand expectations.
  2. Sample Oversight: Oversee the pre-production sample process, obtaining approvals for final fit and wash samples, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  3. Product Testing: Guarantee adherence to product testing protocols, collaborating with the technical team to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety.
  4. Factory Collaboration: Issue necessary files to factories, actively participating in pre-production meetings to resolve conflicts and streamline processes for efficient production.
  5. Sample Dispatch: Manage the dispatch of samples in accordance with customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  6. Program Management: Oversee stitching and washing programs, ensuring they align with quality benchmarks and customer expectations.
  7. Inventory and Outsourcing: Maintain an organized inventory of raw materials, arrange outsourced fabric as needed, and contribute to the creation of Time and Action (T&A) schedules.
  8. Timely Dispatch: Ensure timely dispatch according to customer bookings, contributing to a seamless and efficient production process.
  9. Tech Pack Review: Collaborate with the technical team to review tech packs for sample production, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering is required to bring a solid foundation to this role.
  • Experience: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, showcasing expertise in product development processes.
