About the Role

As a Senior Account Officer, you will oversee crucial financial operations and help drive organizational success through meticulous financial management and insightful analysis. This position requires a proactive professional with a solid foundation in accounting principles and the ability to collaborate across teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial reports to senior management for informed decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, offering actionable insights and recommendations for cost optimization.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during periodic audits.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
• Implement and enhance financial systems and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
• Basic knowledge of import/export processes is an advantage.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • CPA or ACCA part qualification is a plus.
• Experience:
  • At least 3+ years of proven experience in accounting or finance.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, ERP, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-team collaboration.
