The Role – Your Responsibilities and Skills

As a Fashion Designer at Beechtree, your role will be dynamic and vital. Here are some of your key responsibilities and the skills required for success:

Style Development: You will oversee the research and development of new styles for our organization. Your creativity will play a pivotal role in shaping the fashion direction of Beechtree.
Design Management: You will manage the design process from the initial concept through to the final styling. This means you will be involved in every step, from conception to the finished product.
Market Research: To stay at the forefront of fashion, you will conduct market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and design inspirations. Being in tune with market dynamics is essential.
Aesthetics and Color Sense: A keen eye for aesthetics and an innate understanding of colors are crucial for this role. You’ll be creating visually appealing designs.
Communication Skills: Effective communication is essential for collaborating with colleagues and conveying your design ideas and concepts.
Embroidery Skills: You should be capable of dealing with multihead embroideries, which are often a part of our intricate designs.
Adaptability: You should be ready to embrace new challenges and tasks. Fashion is an ever-evolving industry, and adaptability is key to staying relevant.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, we’re looking for candidates with:

Education: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably from the Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design (PIFD). This provides a strong foundation for a career in fashion design.
Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in kids’ wear is preferred. Practical experience in the fashion industry is highly valuable.
