The Role: Lead Production Planning and Material Control

As the Lead in Production Planning and Material Control at Lucky Motor Corporation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials for our production processes. Here’s what the role entails:

Location: Karachi, the heart of Pakistan’s economic and cultural activities.
Education: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
Experience: We are seeking candidates with 4-6 years of experience in the field.

Skills That Make You Stand Out

SAP and ERP Skills: Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems is a definite plus. These skills are preferred as they contribute to efficient material and production planning.
Microsoft Office Suite: Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is important for data analysis and reporting.
Communication Skills: Effective communication is key. You will be interacting with various stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will have a wide range of responsibilities:

Material Supply: You will be the guardian of our material supply chain, ensuring materials are available at the right time, at the right cost, and at the right place, all while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Material Scheduling: You will establish and oversee material scheduling strategies and processes, optimizing costs and keeping stock levels to a minimum.
Stakeholder Coordination: Effective coordination with various stakeholders is essential for resolving day-to-day issues. Timely responses to queries regarding material and production planning will be part of your routine.
Supplier Communication: You will engage with suppliers to source materials, place orders, and evaluate their performance.
Inventory Management: Managing and controlling inventory levels and movements, ensuring the integrity of the Bill of Materials (BOM), will be a key aspect of your role.
Production Planning: You will create monthly production plans, supporting the production team in delivering inventory to meet consumer demand for semi-finished goods (SFG).
Obsolete Parts: Ensuring the effective management of obsolete parts and minimizing waste will be your responsibility.
CKD Claim Parts: Managing CKD (Completely Knocked Down) claim parts and ensuring their timely replacement with suppliers is essential.
