Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager Import, your role will be pivotal in ensuring efficient import operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supplier Negotiation and Coordination:
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and profitability.
- ERP and Procurement Management:
- Develop and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in the ERP system, ensuring timely order placement and accurate data management.
- Shipment and Logistics Oversight:
- Track shipments, coordinate with suppliers for confirmations, and manage payment follow-ups.
- Custom Clearance and Delivery:
- Oversee customs clearance procedures and ensure timely delivery of goods to the factory.
- File Documentation and Closure:
- Prepare and maintain import files, ensuring all records are completed and closed accurately.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in import operations.
Skills:
- Proficiency in verbal and written English.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with international suppliers.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and customs regulations.
