Position: SR. EXECUTIVE Yarn and Fabric Sourcing
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Executive in Yarn and Fabric Sourcing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials. Your responsibilities will include:
- Thorough Understanding: Develop a comprehensive understanding of yarn and fabric requirements for various projects.
- Supplier Identification: Identify and engage with the most suitable suppliers, ensuring they meet the quality and delivery standards.
- Timely Deliveries: Ensure timely deliveries of yarn and fabric, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
- Loom Planning: Effectively plan and execute loom planning to meet production requirements.
- Material Movement: Oversee efficient yarn and fabric movements, including transportation, and ensure flawless execution.
- Payment Processing: Manage and oversee timely payment processing, with diligent follow-ups as necessary.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to yarn and fabric sourcing, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Educational Background: A BSc. in Textile Engineering or related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in yarn and fabric sourcing.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Thorough knowledge of yarn and fabric specifications and construction.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems.
- Excellent coordination and collaboration abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
