Position: Manager/Assistant Manager – Planning
Responsibilities:
As the Manager/Assistant Manager – Planning at Artistic Milliners, you will play a crucial role in overseeing raw materials, manpower planning, and production processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Production Oversight:
- Monitor pre-production activities to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Set and achieve production targets with a focus on optimal capacity utilization.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate closely with the merchandising team for effective planning.
- Coordinate with the MIS team for order closing reports.
- Meetings and Reporting:
- Conduct daily meetings to track production schedules and address any challenges.
- Provide regular updates on production status to relevant stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills and Process Improvement:
- Possess strong analytical skills to address production challenges.
- Focus on process improvement and automation to enhance yearly production planning.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should have:
- Education: At least a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Textile Engineering.
- Experience: 4+ years for Assistant Manager & 6+ years of experience for Manager in garment production planning of a reputable denim garments export company.
