Key Responsibilities:

As a Purchase Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company’s supply chain. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Supplier Relationship Management:
  Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong, productive relationships to secure the best possible deals for the company.
• Inventory Monitoring:
  Monitor inventory levels and forecast future requirements to prevent both stock shortages and overstocking.
• Processing Purchase Orders:
  Prepare and process purchase orders and related documents in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Market Research:
  Conduct thorough market research to identify potential new suppliers and uncover opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you must have the following qualifications and skills:

• Education:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience:
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry.
• Skills:
  • Strong Negotiation Skills: You must possess strong negotiation skills to ensure favorable terms with suppliers.
  • Effective Communication: Clear and concise communication skills to maintain strong supplier relationships and internal coordination.
  • Multitasking and Pressure Management: The ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and perform under pressure.
