Role Overview

As a Planning Analyst at LMC, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient operations and seamless coordination between various stakeholders. Your work will directly contribute to the company’s operational excellence by managing production schedules, material planning, and vendor communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning:
  • Calculate plant capacity and prepare comprehensive annual and monthly production plans.
  • Develop and circulate detailed daily production schedules to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitoring and Optimization:
  • Track production efficiency and monitor downtime to ensure operational targets are met.
  • Ensure Bill of Materials (BOM) updates are in sync with the latest NPC/ECI changes.
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP):
  • Align materials and resources with production needs to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team for L/C management and Logistics for shipment and customs clearance.
• Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Monitor EDB quotas to achieve smooth build-outs with minimal leftover stocks.
  • Update part lists and BOMs in collaboration with Localization teams.
  • Communicate production plans effectively to vendors and the KMC team.
• Inventory Management:
  • Oversee CKD/PSPO rundown, input sales requirements, and track stock levels.
  • Finalize build-out schedules with KMC and local vendors to ensure timely execution.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
• Experience: 4–5 years of relevant experience in production planning or operations management, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in material planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and optimizing production processes.
