Job Opportunity: Industrial Relations (IR) Manager at Fatima Group

About the Role:

The IR Manager will play a critical role in managing the company’s relationship with labor unions, government departments, and other regulatory bodies. This position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage industrial relations, ensure compliance with labor laws, and uphold company policies to maintain a harmonious workplace.


Key Requirements:

  • Education: MBA (Master of Business Administration)

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in employee relations, especially dealing with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and government institutions such as Labour Department, EOBI, and PESSI.

  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, dispute resolution, and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Industrial Relations Management:
    Plan, direct, and manage the operations related to industrial relations to maintain a stable and productive work environment.

  • Legal Liaison:
    Coordinate with the company’s legal advisor to effectively manage company litigation related to labor and industrial issues.

  • Policy Development:
    Develop and strategize Industrial Relations policies and procedures in alignment with labor laws, company Quality, Health, and Environment (QHE) policies, safety standards, and directives issued by plant divisions.

  • Compliance and Safety:
    Ensure all IR activities comply with government regulations and internal company policies, fostering a safe and compliant workplace.
