Key Responsibilities
The Finance Officer will support the finance team with a focus on tenant financial management, reconciliation, and revenue assurance. Responsibilities include:
- Receivables Management: Communicate with tenants to ensure timely recovery of receivables within the due dates, keeping revenue streams steady and on track.
- Lease Management: Handle and manage lease agreements in the organization’s ERP system, Oracle, ensuring all lease information is accurately recorded and up-to-date.
- Ledger Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations between tenant ledgers and organizational records to ensure alignment and prevent discrepancies.
- Invoicing Assistance: Support the monthly invoicing cycle, ensuring invoices are accurate and issued promptly, contributing to seamless revenue operations.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidates should possess:
- Educational Background: ACCA, BBA, or B.Com degree from a reputable institution.
- Experience Level: 0–1 years in a finance-related role, preferably with exposure to accounts management or revenue assurance.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle experience is a plus), and good understanding of ledger reconciliation and invoicing.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage tenant relationships effectively, along with a strong team-player mentality.
