Key Requirements

Propact Global is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified.
  • Experience: 1.5-2.5 years of experience in UK-based bookkeeping.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UK-specific accounting practices, including VAT returns, year-end accounts, and SA (Self Assessment) returns.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Dext, Hubdoc, and MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing a team effectively.
  • Client Relations: Ability to communicate and deal with clients confidently on financial matters.
  • UK Accounting Standards: Familiarity with UK accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Bookkeeping Manager at Propact Global, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Overseeing Bookkeeping Operations: Manage and oversee bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to UK accounting standards.
  2. VAT and Year-End Accounts: Prepare VAT returns, year-end accounts, and SA returns while keeping up-to-date with relevant regulations.
  3. Team Leadership: Guide and support the bookkeeping team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring high-quality output.
  4. Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice on their financial matters and addressing any concerns.
  5. Software Management: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Dext, Hubdoc) and MS Office tools for efficient and organized bookkeeping operations.
