Duties & Responsibilities: A Glimpse into Your Role

As a Fixed Asset Executive at Global Pharmaceuticals, your responsibilities will be diverse, spanning from meticulous control and management of assets to ensuring compliance with fixed asset policies and regulations. Here’s a closer look at what you’ll be doing:

Assets Control and Management:

Build, load, and maintain the fixed assets register (FAR) with precision and accuracy.
Oversee daily capturing of additions, disposals, and transfers, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Reconcile fixed assets to the general ledger, using applicable software for submission to the Finance Manager.
Label and record all company fixed assets before distribution, updating asset records on a daily basis.

Assets Accountability:

Conduct physical verification of assets every six months, obtaining staff members’ signatures and providing them with verified asset records.
Calculate and submit depreciation to the Accountant, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Process asset disposal requests, initiate disposal procedures, and follow up on stolen or lost assets.
Manage capitalization of fixed assets after completion certificate and relevant documentation.
Follow up on projects for Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) and its completion.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualification: A degree in Accounts and Finance or a similar field is required.
Experience: You should have 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounts and Finance or a related field.
