As a Fabric Development Manager at Style Textile, your role will be crucial in shaping the fabric development process. Here’s an overview of your responsibilities:
- Research and Assessment: Dive into research, assess, and evaluate materials with a keen eye on buyer’s aesthetic and testing standards. Understand fabric limitations and behavior.
- Statistical Formulation: Work closely with merchandisers to formulate statistical information for costing purposes.
- Pre-Production Meetings: Arrange detailed pre-production meetings with merchants and stakeholders to finalize pre-production parameters.
- Information Provision: Provide all necessary information to PPC/Bulk for production in the form of PPM (Pre-Production Meeting).
Ideal Profile:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Education: Bachelors in Textile Engineering.
- Experience: 12-15 years of experience in the Textile industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of fabric development.
