Job Summary:
Dalda Foods Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy/Assistant Manager – HSE to implement and enhance the effectiveness of Dalda’s Environment, Occupational Health & Safety (HSE) Policy. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of best HSE practices and technology abilities to protect the health and safety of employees, contractors, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations and best practices.
Conduct regular HSE risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks within the workplace.
Provide HSE training to employees and contractors on safe work practices, including hazard recognition and control measures, emergency response, and incident reporting.
Establish and maintain a safety culture within the organization, including promoting HSE awareness and participation at all levels.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Manage the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all HSE legal requirements and company standards, including conducting regular inspections of work areas to identify and rectify hazards and non-compliance issues.
Maintain accurate records of HSE performance, incidents, and audits, and produce reports to senior management as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in HSE or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Ability to lead, mentor and motivate teams to achieve desired results.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
