SAPPHIRE is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Category Head RTW (Ready-to-Wear) to join our Categories & Merchandising Team. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to the sustainability, improvement, and growth of our product line while driving strategies that align with our business objectives and cater to customer needs.

Role Overview:

As the Category Head RTW, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of the product line. Your responsibilities include:

a. Sustainability and Growth: Take charge of the sustainability, improvement, and growth of the RTW product line.

b. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute category strategies that align with overall business objectives and effectively meet customer needs.

c. Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, understand business patterns, estimate demand, and plan sales season-wise.

d. Merchandizing Plan: Develop a detailed season-wise merchandizing plan for the allocated product line.

e. Performance Evaluation: Evaluate past data and prepare periodic reports to estimate product performance and align seasonal performance with the plan.

f. Market Research: Conduct market research to understand trends, augment market share against competitors, and identify demand gaps.

g. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, creative, E-Commerce, sales, and sourcing teams to deliver on set objectives.

h. Commercial Ownership: Own commercial KPIs, including revenue, conversion, and sell-throughs, to enhance fiscal target achievement.

i. Market Mix Strategy: Drive the commercial strategy regarding market mix by identifying demand gaps and understanding competitive landscape analytics.

j. Recommendations: Develop strategic recommendations for new market/product entry plans by researching potential segments.

k. Process Optimization: Optimize processes and procedures by setting effective SOPs, aiming to attain business excellence in cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

a. Relevant Experience: 6-8 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.

b. Educational Background: BBA/MBA or equivalent degree.

c. Technical Proficiency: Exceptional proficiency in MS Excel.

d. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills.

e. Attributes: Self-motivated, a problem solver, an out-of-the-box thinker, and a go-getter.
