About the Role

The Manager Investigation – Digital Banking Fraud will play a crucial role in investigating and mitigating digital banking frauds. This position demands a strong technical understanding of digital fraud investigations and an ability to implement effective solutions to protect the bank’s interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into digital banking fraud disputes, adhering to defined turnaround times.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports for the line manager and suggest measures to mitigate fraud.
• Monitor and analyze fraud trends, recommending corrective actions to preempt future risks.
• Collaborate with issuing banks for fraud investigations and recovery efforts.
• Liaise with the Banking Mohtasib Pakistan (BMP) and other investigative organizations to resolve fraud cases effectively.
• Identify process gaps and propose policy changes to minimize the bank’s exposure to fraud.
• Develop deterrents and recovery mechanisms to address fraudulent losses.
• Ensure effective coordination with other departments, including the ADC Operations Department and Card Dispute Unit.
• Use the FTDH system to close investigation cases promptly and efficiently.
• Perform additional tasks related to digital banking fraud as assigned by the unit head.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Graduate degree from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years, with a focus on digital banking fraud investigations and strong analytical skills.
