Position Overview: Medical Science Liaison (MSL)

As an MSL at Getz Pharma, you will be at the forefront of establishing and nurturing scientific relationships with medical experts, communities, and decision-makers. Your role will involve disseminating up-to-date medical information, supporting clinical trial initiatives, and promoting a culture of clinical research among healthcare professionals. Here’s a closer look at your key responsibilities:

1. Peer-to-Peer Relationships:
   • Develop and maintain credible relationships with medical experts through scientific interactions and therapy presentations.
2. Medical Information Dissemination:
   • Ensure healthcare professionals have the latest medical information on new treatments and disease management modalities.
3. Clinical Trial Support:
   • Collaborate with physicians and medical experts to support clinical trial enrollment, protocol training, and medical education programs for healthcare professionals.
4. Capacity-Building Workshops:
   • Conduct research capacity-building workshops for local healthcare professionals to enhance clinical research culture and skills.
5. Training Internal Stakeholders:
   • Train internal stakeholders, particularly sales teams, on key scientific and medical topics in relevant therapeutic areas.
6. Project Support:
   • Support medical projects and clinical development initiatives, including site identification and trial recruitment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Preferred candidates will hold degrees such as Pharm D, MPhil, BDS, MSc, MBBS, or PhD. Advanced professional certifications in research and the healthcare system will be advantageous.
• 1-4 years of experience in the Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, or Sales function of a pharmaceutical or healthcare organization, or teaching experience in a medical university.
