Job Description:

As a Senior Officer – Quality Assurance, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all new school building sites meet the rigorous health, safety, and environmental standards set by The Educators. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Site Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of new school building sites to ensure compliance with established health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports following site inspections, highlighting any issues or making recommendations for improvements.
• Building Plans: Read, interpret, and create building drawings, and use CAD software to draft and design construction plans for clients interested in purpose-built campuses.
• Data Management: Utilize Excel for data analysis, Word for document preparation, and PowerPoint/Canva for presentations.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical advice and guidance on building safety and environmental impacts to clients or school administrations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to facilitate campus approval and onboarding processes.
• Mapping Tools: Use Google Maps and Google Earth to gather and analyze site-specific information for schools.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate should have:

• A strong understanding of civil engineering principles and experience in building inspections.
• Proficiency in CAD software for drafting and design, as well as strong data management skills using Excel.
• Experience in preparing professional reports and presentations.
• Excellent communication skills for providing technical guidance and collaborating with various departments.
• Willingness to travel as needed to conduct site inspections and meet with clients.
