By joining SECMC as Officer Accounts, you will play a key role in financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and compliance, contributing to the financial health of Thar Foundation and Engro’s sustainability projects.


🔍 Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Account Management

  • Compile and report monthly expenses, accruals, and reversals for accurate monthly closing.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly & quarterly financial statements for Thar Foundation (TF).
  • Conduct variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual) and report findings.
  • Prepare BAC & BOD Packs and ensure timely circulation to stakeholders.

Budgeting & Expense Monitoring

  • Coordinate annual corporate financial planning with relevant interfaces.
  • Monitor and analyze Opex & Capex budgets, ensuring correct PR/PO/AR issuance.
  • Provide monthly reports on budget utilization and cost optimization opportunities.

Tax Compliance & Financial Controls

  • Prepare and submit tax returns and statements in compliance with FBR and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure all financial transactions align with tax laws and accounting standards.

Fixed Asset & Invoice Management

  • Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register (additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation tracking).
  • Perform Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt (GRIR) activities to cleanse outstanding balances.
  • Process Fl invoices, DESS, and MM invoices in line with standard SOPs.

This role demands strong financial acumen, accuracy in reporting, and compliance expertise.

🎓 Education:

  • ACCA qualified (Mandatory)

💼 Experience:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and taxation.
  • Experience in corporate financial reporting, budget variance analysis, and tax compliance is preferred.

📝 Technical Skills Required:
Financial analysis and budget management expertise.
Taxation knowledge and compliance with FBR & regulatory authorities.
Strong proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Experience in preparing financial statements and variance reports.

Excellent MS Excel and financial modeling skills.
