As the Manager Air Travel, you will be responsible for the following:
Air Travel Management: Oversee end-to-end air travel arrangements for the company, ensuring seamless booking, reservations, and travel logistics.
Booking & Reservation Handling: Manage the air booking and reservation processes, ensuring that all arrangements meet company requirements and are efficient and cost-effective.
Visa & Insurance Solutions: Handle visa processing, health, and travel insurance solutions, ensuring all travel documents and protections are in place.
Strategic Relationship Management: Develop and manage relationships with travel agents to optimize service delivery, negotiate favorable rates, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
Cost Optimization: Focus on reducing overall travel-related costs by negotiating competitive rates with airlines, travel agents, and other service providers.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory standards related to air travel, and maintain reports on travel expenditures and activities.
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification: A Master’s degree or equivalent academic qualification in a relevant field.
Experience: At least 8 years of progressive experience in air booking and reservation systems, with a strong focus on air travel management and processes.
Skills:
Extensive knowledge and experience with air travel booking systems and processes.
Strong relationship management skills, particularly in dealing with travel agents and service providers.
Negotiation skills to secure the best rates and cost-effective solutions.
Knowledge of visa processing, health, and travel insurance solutions.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and service quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders at all levels.
