Position: Deputy Manager IE (Knits)
Responsibilities:
As Deputy Manager IE (Knits) at Orient Apparel, you will be at the forefront of optimizing our production processes and ensuring efficiency. Your key responsibilities include:
- Product Engineering NPI & Costing: Spearhead product engineering for New Product Introduction (NPI) and costing initiatives.
- Machines & Manpower Planning: Strategically plan and allocate resources, focusing on both machines and manpower.
- Monitor & Assist Production: Work closely with production teams to monitor and assist in improving Plan vs. Actual outcomes.
- Value Stream Mapping and Lean Layout Design: Implement Lean principles, including Value Stream Mapping and designing efficient layouts.
- Cost Reduction Policies: Drive the implementation of policies aimed at cost reduction.
- Increase Labor Productivity: Develop and implement strategies to enhance labor productivity through revised operation target strategies.
Qualifications:
- Education: BS in Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 5-7 years in the textile industry, with a focus on apparel.
