Position: Deputy General Manager – Polyester Dyeing
Location: Utopia Head Office, Karachi
Job Overview: As the Deputy General Manager in Polyester Dyeing, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving the overall operations of long tube Jet dyeing and processing for Polyester Fabric. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing the planning and execution of efficient polyester/microfiber dyeing and processing operations.
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize production processes and meet quality standards.
- Monitoring production data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Managing production budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- Fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the microfiber dyeing and processing department.
- Implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure products meet and exceed industry standards.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A B.E Textile/BSc in Chemistry or a related field, with an MBA being preferred.
- 16 years of experience in textile processing, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of the technical processes involved in dyeing and finishing Polyester Fabric.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
