Position: Semi Senior Accountant

• Location: Naval Anchorage, Islamabad
• Organization: Propact Global
• Work Model: Hybrid (3 days from office, 2 days WFH)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Handling UK-based accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, bank and control account reconciliations, and year-end journal reviews.
• Demonstrating a strong knowledge of UK corporation tax, income tax, and VAT while advising on their impact on accounts and clients’ overall financial affairs.
• Leading and managing teams efficiently to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintaining proficiency in UK accounting standards and regulations and ensuring compliance in all accounts handled.
• Collaborating with clients to offer insights and solutions for financial management and tax planning.

Requirements:

To be eligible for the Semi Senior Accountant position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Education: ACCA qualified or part qualified.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of UK-based accounting experience is required.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax, income tax, and VAT.
  • Ability to handle bookkeeping tasks and perform reconciliations.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
