Role Description:

As the Manager Group Accounts at Master Group of Industries, you will have a multifaceted role that encompasses various responsibilities:

Preparation of Accounts: You will be responsible for preparing the annual accounts of group companies in compliance with applicable accounting standards. This requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of financial reporting.
Financial Analysis: Analyzing the financial statements of all group companies to gain insights into their performance. Your ability to interpret these statements will be valuable in decision-making processes.
Communication & Compliance: Effective communication of accounting and financial reporting issues, including knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and SME standards. You’ll also manage communications with external auditors to ensure compliance.
SOP Development: Developing new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and refining existing ones to streamline financial processes. This role involves conducting various group committee meetings to discuss and implement these changes.
Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinating with various stakeholders across the group for the preparation and presentation of financial information. This collaborative role ensures that the entire group is aligned in its financial practices.
Regulatory Compliance: Managing SECP (Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan) filings for the group. This includes ensuring timely and accurate submissions and compliance with SECP rules and regulations.
Documentation & Corporate Matters: Maintaining all supporting documentation for SECP filings, including responses to SECP letters. You will also supervise corporate matters and the maintenance of all statutory records.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Qualification: You should be a CA Finalist or a Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant). Your educational background should equip you with the knowledge and skills required for this role.
Experience: The position is open to candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience for CA Qualified professionals and 3-4 years for CA Finalists.
