📋 Key Responsibilities

As a Workshop Fabrication Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient fabrication and quality control of manufacturing components, particularly for ASME vessels and heat exchangers.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Production Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive production records, including work orders, inspection reports, test certificates, and fabrication logs.

• Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Ensure that all fabricated products meet the required quality standards and comply with applicable codes and regulations (ASME, API, TEMA, ISO).

  • Conduct thorough quality checks, including:

    • Visual inspections

    • Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

    • Dimensional inspections

    • Hydrostatic testing

• Coordination with Inspectors:

  • Coordinate with Third-Party Inspectors to verify fabrication quality and testing compliance where necessary.

• Fabrication Oversight:

  • Oversee fabrication processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications and timelines.

• Use of Engineering Software:

  • Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and review of fabrication drawings.
