Job Description:
Position: Workshop Engineer
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the fertilizer, petrochemical, or process industry
- Strong focus on safety and process hazards management
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation and management of the workshop facility, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Lead a team of technicians and mechanics in performing maintenance and repair work on machinery and equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability of workshop assets.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workshop.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
