💼 Key Responsibilities

As a Trade Officer, you will be entrusted with managing and processing trade-related transactions in compliance with both bank and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations. Your role will be pivotal in facilitating clients with seamless and Shariah-compliant trade services.

🌐 Trade Finance Operations

• Process and establish Letters of Credit (LCs).

• Handle lodgment and retirement of trade documents.

• Manage inward and outward remittances, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines.

💱 Foreign Currency Account Handling

• Oversee foreign currency deposits and withdrawals.

• Prepare withholding tax challans and ensure timely submission of Export Development Surcharge to SBP.

📊 Reporting & Documentation

• Generate and issue Proceed Realization Certificates (PRCs) for clients daily.

• Maintain accurate accounting records of all transactions.

• Submit daily FX sale/purchase reports to the Treasury Department.

• Compile and forward monthly reports regarding foreign currency deposits in the branch.

🎯 Client Service & Efficiency

• Ensure transaction processing is smooth, timely, and exceeds client expectations.

• Support customer engagement with clear guidance on documentation and trade-related inquiries.
