As the Technical Sales Manager – Textiles, you will be responsible for:
Product Customization & Support:
Introduce StarchPack’s specialized starch solutions and develop tailored formulations/recipes for customers in the textile industry.
Provide technical sales support in the application of starch for textile sizing and other industrial processes.
Customer Interaction & Issue Resolution:
Address daily technical queries and troubleshoot challenges faced by customers.
Serve as a reliable technical advisor and primary point of contact for textile clients.
Strategic Sales Development:
Understand the technical and commercial needs of customers and offer optimized solutions that add measurable value.
Develop strategic account plans in collaboration with clients to ensure mutual growth and satisfaction.
Business Growth:
Identify new growth opportunities and emerging market needs in the textile sector.
Proactively build and maintain relationships with potential clients, industry stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
4–5 years of relevant work experience in the textile sizing industry or technical sales of textile chemicals.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of starch chemistry and its applications in textile manufacturing, especially in sizing processes.
Ability to explain technical benefits and adapt products to customer-specific processes.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
