Tri-Pack Films Limited, a key player within the Packages Group, is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced professional to join their team as a Team Lead for Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) at their Karachi, Port Qasim Plant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned expert in SHE management to take on a leadership role within a manufacturing setup, driving the company’s agenda for safety, health, and environmental excellence.

Key Accountabilities:
SHE Agenda Implementation: Assist the Head of SHE in executing the company’s SHE agenda, ensuring zero harm to personnel, machinery, and the environment.
Health & Safety Plans: Implement comprehensive health and safety plans aimed at reducing injuries, preventing fires, minimizing equipment damages, and mitigating workplace hazards and risks.
Compliance and Law Adherence: Ensure full compliance with SHE policies, standards, and applicable laws within the workplace.
Preventive Care Programs: Plan and execute preventive SHE programs, including compliance and performance monitoring of SHE management systems, facility and process audits, risk assessments, hazard identification and control, staff training, and awareness initiatives.
Incident Management: Develop and implement effective incident management controls and behavior-based safety plans.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in health and safety management systems and emergency response protocols.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:
Education:
B.E. in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
M.E./MS preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing setup, with at least 5 years in dedicated HSE roles.
At least 3 years of experience in a team lead position.
Certifications:
IOSH Managing Safety or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is required.
Expertise:
Strong knowledge in occupational health & safety management and process safety.
Proven record of implementing OSHA PSM elements, regulatory compliances, and international safety standards (OHSAS & ISO).
Awareness of SAP/ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office (intermediate level).
Skills:
Leadership, teamwork, project management, and the ability to act as a change catalyst.
High attention to detail, strong initiative, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent data analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
