BDO is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Supervisor – Corporate Advisory Services to join their dynamic team in Karachi. The role involves assisting in all legal and corporate advisory tasks, supporting the manager, and handling related departmental responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in corporate law and compliance.
As a Supervisor – Corporate Advisory Services, your key responsibilities will include:
Formation of Companies: Assist in the formation of companies and other legal entities, ensuring all relevant documentation is processed.
Filing Statutory Returns: Ensure timely filing of statutory returns in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Document Drafting: Draft agreements, trust deeds, and any other documents related to corporate compliance and legal matters.
Minutes of Meetings: Prepare and file the minutes of statutory meetings to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Compliance & Advisory Services: Oversee compliance services related to corporate advisory services, ensuring adherence to relevant laws.
Foreign Exchange Compliance: Ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding corporate entities, including the Foreign Exchange Manual of the State Bank of Pakistan.
General Legal Matters: Handle other legal matters assigned by the department, ensuring they align with corporate and legal standards.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field is required. A law degree would be an advantage.
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in corporate law or corporate advisory services.
Skills:
Strong understanding of corporate law and compliance requirements.
Proficient in drafting legal documents such as contracts and agreements.
Knowledge of statutory compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
