The Shift Manager Services will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the services department. This role involves ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and adherence to industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Chemical Engineering, with a focus on operations management in an industrial setting.
Manage Services Operations: Oversee the daily operations, ensuring that processes are efficient and meet production goals.
Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the services team, ensuring they meet performance standards and adhere to safety guidelines.
Process Optimization: Implement improvements in workflows, processes, and service delivery to enhance operational efficiency.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices during operations.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve technical and operational issues that arise during the service shift.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of operations, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and any incidents, reporting to senior management as required.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas of improvement in service delivery and implement corrective actions to meet company objectives.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputable institute.
Experience:
3 to 4 years of relevant experience in service management or operations, particularly in an industrial setting.
Leadership: Strong ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of chemical engineering processes and service operations.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with the team and senior management.
Time Management: Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
