Senior Research Assistant
Midwife

🔹 Responsibilities:
Conduct follow-up calls to patients, encouraging antenatal care (ANC) and delivery appointment attendance.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all communications.
Collect and document data related to maternal and child health indicators.
Support the coordination of field activities in close collaboration with the line manager.
Translate project-related documents and perform Urdu typing tasks as required.
🔹 Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or a related field from a recognized institution.
🔹 Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in fieldwork, research, or data collection roles.
🔹 Skills Required:
Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
Basic data management and documentation proficiency.
Urdu typing and translation capabilities are a plus.
Comfortable working in field settings across different communities in Karachi.

🔹 Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive maternal care including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services.
Monitor maternal and newborn health and detect early signs of complications.
Assist in safe deliveries and follow standard delivery protocols.
Provide health education and counseling to mothers and families.
Refer high-risk cases to appropriate healthcare facilities as per guidelines.
🔹 Qualifications:
Diploma in Midwifery from a recognized institute.
Valid PNC License (Pakistan Nursing Council) is mandatory.
🔹 Experience:
1–2 years of hands-on experience in maternal and newborn care or clinic-based delivery support.
🔹 Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of safe delivery practices.
Ability to work compassionately with women from diverse communities.
Quick decision-making in emergency situations.
Effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.
