As a Senior Officer Asset Management, your role will involve:
Asset Management & Inventory Control:
Oversee and manage assets across multiple locations, ensuring accurate tracking, maintenance, and compliance with organizational standards.
Fixed Asset Accounting:
Apply fixed asset accounting principles, including depreciation methods, to maintain accurate financial records related to the organization’s assets.
Data Entry & Reporting:
Perform data entry tasks and generate reports on asset status, inventory levels, and depreciation schedules using advanced tools like ERP or SAP.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to ensure that assets are effectively managed and utilized across different locations.
Policy Implementation:
Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and control asset-related risks.
Auditing & Compliance:
Ensure all asset management activities comply with internal audit standards and legal requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
Proven experience in asset management, inventory control, or a similar role. Hands-on experience with asset management tools like ERP, SAP, or other equivalent systems is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting and depreciation methods.
Proficient in data entry, record-keeping, and report generation.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage assets across multiple locations and collaborate with stakeholders.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional team coordination.
