Engro Energy Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for the position of Senior Officer – Education at the Thar Site. If you’re passionate about driving educational initiatives and making a meaningful impact within communities, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of the next generation.
As a Senior Officer – Education, you will play a critical role in engaging with schools, communities, and partners to promote education, especially focusing on improving girls’ enrollment and community involvement in education. Your responsibilities will include:
Safety & Awareness Programs: Inculcate a safety-first culture among school children and organize educational events, extracurricular activities, and awareness sessions.
Community Engagement: Educate and mobilize communities, particularly for girls’ school enrollment. Continuously engage with community-based school management committees to ensure involvement and ownership.
Female Empowerment Programs: Organize entertainment programs and awareness sessions tailored for females in the community.
School Operations & Monitoring: Oversee the day-to-day operations of schools in the area, ensuring quality education standards and operational efficiency.
Partner Coordination: Collaborate with partner organizations, government institutions, and civil society to enhance educational outcomes in the region.
Reporting & Data Management: Manage comprehensive school-wise databases, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and ensure all data is readily available for presentation to management and stakeholders.
Event Planning & School Visits: Plan and manage school events, educational visits, and any academic projects, providing structured scopes of work and execution plans.
Requirements:
Educational Background: ACCA or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Management, or a relevant field.
Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in a compliance officer, manager, or similar role.
Skills: Strong computer literacy, exceptional reporting skills, and proficiency in data management are essential for this position.
