As the Section Head Process Technical Services, you will be tasked with leading and overseeing the technical services in the fertilizer production process. Your responsibilities will include:
Process Technology Expertise: Applying your knowledge of urea and nitric acid plant technologies and operating units to ensure optimal performance and efficiency across all technical processes.
Safety and Risk Management: Utilizing your experience in HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies and other PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) techniques to enhance process safety and implement risk management protocols across all operational activities.
Performance Evaluation: Overseeing TMP (Technical Management Process) data collection and analyzing process performance to identify areas for improvement and maintain consistent operational standards.
Team Leadership and Coordination: Leading technical teams, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring the effective execution of projects to enhance process capabilities.
To qualify for the position, the following qualifications and experience are required:
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Experience: At least 9 years of experience in a technical role within the fertilizer industry, with specific expertise in urea and nitric acid plant technologies.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of operating units in a fertilizer production plant.
In-depth understanding of HAZOP studies, PHA techniques, and process safety management.
Expertise in TMP data collection and performance evaluation.
