As a Sales Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
Develop Sales Strategy:
Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies and marketing plans to achieve the company’s sales goals and ensure profitability. Your strategies will focus on meeting zone/area-wise primary/secondary sales targets and ensuring product/package availability.
Market Supervision & Relationship Management:
Conduct regular market visits to supervise the execution of sales objectives and plans. Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential dealers to enhance sales and market presence.
Market Intelligence Gathering:
Collect valuable market data regarding market share, trends, competition activities, and product availability. Provide timely and accurate market intelligence to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Asset Management:
Ensure the proper placement and optimal utilization of company assets such as coolers, glass, signage, and other promotional materials to enhance brand visibility and product accessibility.
Distribution & Sales Operations Management:
Oversee distribution management to ensure effective execution of sales operations, ROI, and KPIs. Focus on inventory management and ensuring that the distribution network is operating efficiently.
To be considered for the Sales Manager position, applicants should meet the following qualifications and experience requirements:
Education:
A BBA/MBA with a specialization in Marketing.
Experience:
5-7 years of experience in the beverages or FMCG industry, with a focus on sales, strategy execution, and team management.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong sales strategy development and marketing planning skills.
Ability to conduct market analysis and apply findings to improve sales efforts.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Experience in managing distribution networks and optimizing inventory.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate teams.
A customer-centric approach with a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities.
