Job Overview:

The Manager – Risk Advisory Services/Internal Audit will be responsible for leading and managing risk advisory and internal audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role involves assessing internal controls, identifying risk areas, and providing actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, compliance, and controls. As a leader in the firm, you will also be responsible for mentoring and training junior staff while managing audit plans and communicating findings to senior management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Engagements:
    Oversee Risk Advisory and Internal Audit engagements for clients, ensuring high-quality execution.

  • Audit Planning & Execution:
    Develop audit plans to assess internal controls, processes, and business risks.

  • Identify and Mitigate Risks:
    Pinpoint potential risk areas and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance.

  • Report Findings:
    Communicate audit findings clearly to senior management and prepare comprehensive audit reports.

  • Client Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and industry trends.

  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensure timely and high-quality completion of all audit engagements in line with the firm’s quality standards.

  • Mentoring and Training:
    Mentor junior staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support for their professional development.


Key Requirements:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    • Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or ICMA.

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of post-qualification experience or 4-5 years of industry experience.

    • Previous experience in internal audit or risk advisory services is essential.

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and communication skills.

    • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

    • Ability to work in a team and manage client relationships.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Punctual and proactive.

    • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    • High attention to detail.
