As a Regional Sales Manager, your role will include:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plans to achieve targeted secondary volume, numeric distribution, and market share growth in the region.
Team Management: Manage and develop a high-performing sales team, ensuring that they meet or exceed their KPIs and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Distributor Relationship Management: Strengthen relationships with both existing and potential distributors/accounts through regular market visits, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activities in the market and develop counter strategies to ensure Pepsi’s dominance in the region.
Cold Availability & Sales Enhancement: Implement strategies to increase cold availability of all SKUs by channel and boost secondary sales.
Asset Deployment & Management: Deploy and manage assets like coolers and glass, ensuring they are being used effectively to increase product visibility and sales.
Route to Market Strategies: Implement Route to Market (RTM) strategies and replicate best practices to drive sales growth.
Sales Force Efficiency: Monitor and improve sales team KPIs, taking corrective actions where necessary to improve performance.
Profitability Monitoring: Ensure profitability by tracking discounts, variable margins, gross profit, and net sales revenue (NSR) of the region.
Distributor Profitability: Ensure that all distributors are operating profitably and maintaining healthy financials.
Sustainable Business: Focus on long-term, sustainable business growth and continuously improve operational effectiveness.
Education: BBA/MBA with a specialization in Marketing.
Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the beverages or FMCG sector, with a proven track record in sales management and team leadership.
Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Ability to develop relationships with distributors and analyze market dynamics effectively.
