To qualify for the role of Quality Assurance Officer, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
A BSc (Hons) or MSc (Hons) degree in Food Science and Technology or Meat Science and Technology from a recognized university.
Experience:
2-3 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, particularly in the food industry, with a focus on the poultry sector.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Quality Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for:
Monitoring, implementing, and ensuring food quality and safety protocols across processing areas.
Conducting Quality Management Systems (QMS) audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Leading trainings related to food safety and quality assurance processes.
Collaborating with various teams to uphold and improve food quality standards.
Utilizing analytical skills to assess quality performance and suggest improvements.
Skills Required:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with teams and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Solid analytical skills for evaluating food quality and safety performance.
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and industry-standard audits and training methods.
