Tri-Pack Films Limited, a leading member of the Packages Group, is looking to hire an Operator for its BOPP/CPP Line/Metalizer operations. Key Responsibilities:

As an Operator in the BOPP/CPP Line/Metalizer department, you will be responsible for:

  • Shift Production:
    Perform duties in shifts to operate BOPP/CPP/Metalized film machines, ensuring compliance with the company’s Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) policy and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for film manufacturing.
  • Target Achievement:
    Deliver effective and efficient production outputs, meeting the daily, monthly, and quarterly targets set by your supervisor or Line Manager.
  • Machine Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
    Oversee machine parameters, perform basic troubleshooting, and assist in maintenance tasks to ensure smooth and efficient production processes with minimal downtime.
  • Waste Management & Production Efficiency:
    Ensure minimal wastages and line breaks, optimizing production processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Training & Supervision:
    Supervise junior operators (Apprentices), providing them with the necessary guidance on departmental processes, machine operations, and safety protocols.
  • Compliance:
    Adhere to company standards, including SHE policy, 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain), ISO standards, and all production-related SOPs.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Educational Background:
    • Minimum DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience:
    • At least 2 years of experience in production operations within a manufacturing setup, preferably in CPP/BOPP/BOPET manufacturing.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Technical knowledge of machines and production processes, including basic troubleshooting skills and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
    • Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and ISO standards.
  • Safety Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of Occupational Health & Safety regulations and safety best practices.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Basic mathematical skills (for production and waste reporting),
    • Effective communication skills,
    • Ability to plan, organize, and manage time efficiently,
    • Supervisory skills to train junior team members,
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
  • IT Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS Office (basic level).
