🧩 Role Overview

As the Officer – SBP Coordination & Regulatory Compliance, you will play a vital role in ensuring the bank’s compliance with regulatory authorities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Regulatory Liaison: Act as the main point of contact with regulatory bodies like the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and the Pakistan Banks’ Association (PBA) for effective and timely communication.

  • Circulars Review: Analyze incoming SBP circulars and ensure relevant departments receive updates aligned with compliance policies.

  • System Updates: Maintain and update the Compliance Risk Management (CRM) system with actionable insights derived from regulatory communications.

  • Internal Communication: Promptly circulate directives from regulators to ensure timely implementation and compliance across departments.


🎓 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s, from a recognized institution.

    • Candidates with a qualification in Islamic Banking will be given preference.

  • Experience:

    • At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably in compliance, banking regulations, or financial institutions.

  • Skills Required:

    • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

    • Strong understanding of SBP regulations and compliance processes.

    • Familiarity with CRM tools and internal reporting systems.
