Role Overview
As a Merchandiser at Sapphire Textiles, you will be responsible for managing the marketing aspects of our textile products. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely production and delivery of merchandise that meets customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Product Coordination: Work closely with production teams to coordinate the manufacturing and finishing of textile products according to customer specifications.
- Order Management: Manage customer orders, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery.
- Client Communication: Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving issues.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities for product enhancement and market expansion.
- Data Management: Utilize Excel and ERP systems to track orders, inventory, and production schedules.
Requirements
- Education: BS in Textile Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in textile merchandising, preferably in finishing operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems used for order management and data analysis.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions.
