As the Manager Security, you will be entrusted with overseeing and managing the security operations within the hospital. This includes monitoring all security systems, supervising the security team, and ensuring that the facility operates in a secure and safe manner at all times. You will also assist senior management in developing security strategies and policies that align with hospital goals while ensuring the safety of all hospital personnel, patients, and visitors.
Security Operations Management: Oversee all security operations at the hospital, including managing the entrance and exit points, patrolling, and ensuring security systems like CCTV, access control, and fire alarms are operational.
Policy Development: Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Incident Management: Monitor daily security needs, assess incidents, and respond to potential threats to hospital personnel and property.
Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and supervise the security team, including recruitment, training, deployment, and performance evaluations.
Emergency Response: Coordinate and manage emergency responses during security incidents, disasters, or threats, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
Investigation and Reporting: Lead investigations into theft, loss, altercations, and security breaches, and prepare detailed reports for management.
Manpower Monitoring: Assign duties, track attendance, and ensure the round-the-clock presence of security staff across all shifts.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field.
Ex-Army officers with relevant experience are strongly preferred.
7-10 years of relevant experience in security management, ideally within a hospital or large institutional setting, or a multinational company.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a security team effectively.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordination and reporting.
Security Systems Expertise: Proficiency in using and managing security tools and systems like CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
Problem Solving: Ability to assess risks, manage security incidents, and implement preventive measures.
