Department: Oncology Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy Services
The Manager Pharmacy – Oncology will plan, implement, and monitor advanced oncology pharmacy operations. A key focus will be on managing sterile and cytotoxic drug pharmacotherapy, overseeing admixture services, and collaborating closely with oncologists and hospital faculty to ensure quality and safety in medication delivery.
Supervise clinical pharmacy services, focusing on oncology pharmacotherapy and cytotoxic drug management
Lead the day-to-day operations of oncology pharmacy, ensuring qualified staff coverage and effective workflows
Design and implement medication use systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and medication management policies aligned with international standards
Coordinate with the Oncology Department and consultants to maintain clinical quality benchmarks
Oversee inventory management, including safe handling, storage, and supply chain control of sterile medications
Conduct and encourage incident reporting and error analysis to continuously improve pharmacy safety
Train and mentor pharmacy staff, ensuring capacity building and professional development
