Key Responsibilities

As Manager Marketing and Communications, you will play a critical role in enhancing Engro Energy’s brand, media presence, and communication strategies. Key responsibilities include:

1. Media and Press Relations
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with key English and Urdu media outlets.
   • Advise leadership on press-related matters and establish effective communication protocols.
2. Crisis Communication
   • Develop and execute crisis communication strategies in collaboration with crisis response teams.
   • Ensure prompt and effective responses to mitigate reputational risks.
3. Content Creation and Branding
   • Create corporate literature, including newsletters, brochures, and ATL (Above-The-Line) materials such as advertisements.
   • Ensure consistent branding and visual identity across all communication materials.
4. Digital Marketing and Social Media
   • Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, websites, and mobile platforms.
   • Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to create impactful digital content.
   • Maintain and optimize the company’s website and overall digital presence.
   • Engage effectively with social media audiences and respond to queries in a timely manner.
5. Strategic Communication and Budget Management
   • Identify sponsorship opportunities and plan participation in key external events.
   • Define and manage annual communication budgets, ensuring expenditures are aligned with plans.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Education:
  • BBA/MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 8-10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role.
  • Proven expertise in digital content management, crisis communication, and media planning.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills.
  • Excellent command of written and verbal communication in both English and Urdu.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
