Job Overview:
As a Junior Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to manage accounting tasks for Canadian and U.S. clients. You’ll work with leading accounting software and handle the end-to-end process from bookkeeping to tax filing and financial statement compilation.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping for both Canadian and U.S. clients.
Tax Filing:
File tax returns for Canadian and U.S. individuals as well as businesses, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
Financial Statements Compilation:
Prepare and compile financial statements for clients, using tools like QuickBooks and Caseware.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the Junior Accountant position, you must meet the following qualifications:
Education:
Part-Qualified CA, ACCA, or relevant qualifications such as MBA, BBA, BSAF, B.Com, or ADC.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks and Caseware is preferred but not mandatory.
Other Requirements:
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage financial data accurately.
